Asking for help
In the old world
Considered as weakness
Turns out to be
Incredible strength
All these legions
Of spirit guides and angels,
Masters and ancestors
Who went before us
Celestial beings
And nature spirits in our backyard
Are so willing to help
And provide for what we need
All we have to do
Is ask for help
And..
Don’t forget to say ‘thanks’

2016-03
Having lived for years
Underground, in the dark
(Like humans under a blanket)
Survived hungry woodpeckers
To finally
-Reacting to an invisible clock-
At the right moment
Turn towards the light
On a first warm summer day
Needing strong legs
To make their way up
In an uncontrollable urge
To sing their song
Loud and clear
Together with the likeminded
And reproduce
But first
They need to leave the old behind
So…hold on, steady
Taking off the old coat
Leaving the familiar behind,
An empty shell
With gratitude
To spread their new wings
To sing and fly
To be able to do
What they came for

It’s all in the eyes
‘Mirrors of the soul’
Deep pools of wisdom
Expression of the individual
Of every emotion
Like joy, happiness, trust
Or sorrow, pain and fear
And everything in between:
Pride, greed and confusion
And peace and gratitude
In some we see spirals
Emptiness in others
Have a look in the mirror
And tell me….
What do you see?

2016-01
The Inner Seeker
Lives in us all
In some still dormant
Or slumbering
Allowing now and then
A glimpse
Of what?
Another reality?
In others
The Inner Seeker
-Like a compass,
Or a guiding lighthouse-
Makes us follow
The ‘Red Thread’
Throug consequent lives
Bringing growing awareness
Leading us HOME…

2015-12
When being hurt
Too often in the past
Results in adding
Another padlock
Or iron bar
Then remember:
The only way to enter
Is the way of the heart

2015-11
Basic form of creation
Of the Flower of Life
And Tree of Life symbol
Sacred geometry
Source of all life
On earth as in cosmos
Symbol, left by the ancients
Or creators from elsewhere
Same source,
Found in tempels
All over the world
For us to decipher

2015-10
Oh, if only women
Would realize their power
And lovingly but firmly
Refuse to support
And take care any longer
For their husbands and sons
Working in war-related businesses!
Enough crying over lost babies
And responsible men
Sacrified for useless cause
Knowing in their hearts:
We are all one
By killing you
Part of me is dying too
Saying NO
From the deepest in you
Is far better than
Saying yes
To please, or worse:
To avoid difficulties

Great teachers
Exquisite examples
BUT:
NOW is the time
To internalize
To quit worshipping
Those outside of ourselves
And find our guru’s and gods
Within
To remember our wisdom
We once gave away
To churches, politics and doctors
Re-owning this knowledge again
To listen carefully
To our bodies, nature, our heart’s wisdom
To the people we are interacting with
Thus worshipping
Will be replaced
By gratitude, love and respect

2015-08
Observing the crowds
Protecting temple grounds from evil
Son of Anjana
Balancing in his basket
Shapeshifting
Lifting mountains
To microscopically small
Teaching us to eat the sun
Like a ripe mango
To be playful and naughty
Meanwhile
Cleaning his teeth
With a strawn
|
2015-07
In the midst of the crowd
Between demands and wishes
Recharge your batteries
Take your time
To unwind
Rinsing off the dust
Close your eyes
And simply BE
